Violence Reduction Network: Have your say!

Clock Icon April 8 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Do you want to be a voice for your local community?

Do you have worries and concerns about cyber-crime, cyber-bullying, knife crime, as well as drug and alcohol misuse in your area? Well, this is the time for your voice to be heard.

We’re working with the Violence Reduction Network, established by the Leicestershire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Lord Willy Bach, to give you the opportunity to discuss these issues in your area. This is a perfect opportunity to explore these topic areas and discuss your thoughts and feelings towards these ongoing issues.

Spread over four sessions, this will give you a chance to raise concerns and discuss opinions around these topics, with Lord Willy Bach attending the final session; You Talk We Listen.

This is a great platform for your voice to be heard and to have a direct impact on what happens in your community. You’ll get to speak directly to Lord Willy Bach, the Leicestershire Police and Crime Commissioner, about your concerns.

The structure of the sessions:

11th March:  Welcome Ivan Liburd, Community Partnerships Lead for the VRN, to start the sessions and to explore 2/3 topics.

25th March and 8th April: Participants will be encouraged to further explore topic areas and discuss items to be raised with Lord Willy Bach.

22 April: Welcome Lord Willy Bach to the final session; You Talk We Listen – a place for participants voices to be heard.

To be able to attend the final session, participants must have attended at least two of the earlier sessions.
